Horsemanship Types

All training programs are divided by horsemanship type so you get the experience that is tailored to you. Choosing your horsemanship comes down to efficiency and morals.

Traditional

Traditional tends to be a more efficient training process while securing the idea that the horse will do what you want it to do without the horse thinking about it. Traditional training includes using equipment that restricts the horses movement and freedom until it stops attempting to control itself, effectively giving complete control over every move he makes to his rider.

Natural

Natural takes more time although the training process in most cases is less stressful for both the horse and rider. Natural horsemanship gives the horse options while faced with a prompt and can take any path he desires as long as it is borderline what the rider asked it to do. The main tool used during training is pressure in whatever way the rider can devise, instead of pain. This makes the horse not want to act out without compromising the integrity of the relationship.
