Here we list some of the most commonly found and easy to acquire horse breeds. There are well over 200 known horse breeds in the world, and we are working on adding as many of them as possible

The Arabian Horse

The Arabian Horse has been breed for hundreds of years to run longer than any other horse on the planet. Used for Endurance, racing and other equestrian sports, the Arabian Horse is a great choice for running and overnight trail riding.

American Quarter Horse

Stock Horse

A horse born to outshine any other horse in quarter mile or less events, the Quarter Horse is perfect for Sprinting, Ranch Work, and Trail Riding. The Quarter Horse is currently the most common breed in America.

Appaloosa

Stock Horse

Quickly becoming one of the most popular breeds in America, the Appaloosa horse is commonly used with cattle and Western sports. A good choice for trail rides, breeding, and overall ranch management.

American Paint Horse

Stock Horse

A stock horse belonging to one of the largest online registries in the world, the American Paint Horse is a perfect fit for trail riding and cattle ranching. The American Paint is commonly mistaken as a color instead of a breed.

Thorough bred

Sport Horse

Thoroughbreds are officially used as race horses and because of its perfect balance between endurance and strength, they would make good stock horses as well. Good for general use.

Morgan Horse

Sport Horse

Another popular therapy horse, this discipline neutral horse is a good choice for recreational and official use. Born and bred in america this horse has a history of being reliable and eloquent.

American Miniature Horse

Pony

An extremely docile breed of horse, great with any kid. Able to be kept as an indoor pet rather than an actual horse they are perfect for any location. Miniature Horses have even been used as seeing eye or disability companions.

Clydesdale

Draft Horse

A breed of horse that has won the title of "Gentle Giant" and for a good reason. The Clydesdale horse has a history of being docile, humorous and reliable in almost all work environments. Used for hauling, pulling carriages, and for ranch farming. 

Lipizzan Horse

Baroque Horse

One of the most strictly regulated horses in the world, the Lipizzan horse serves as a extreme dressage horse. Lipizzan horses have an above average lifespan that goes beyond thirty. Not recommended for personal use.

Shetland Pony

Pony

A perfect choice for kids due to their size and overall docile nature. Shetland Pony's are rarely used for anything outside of being ridden to to their inability to jump or tame cattle.

Dutch Warmblood

Sport Horse

This breed of horse is known mainly for its professional jumping. Dutch Warm bloods do have more requirements than most for breeding. Perfect for jumping and official breeding.

Shire Horse

Draft Horse

Shire horses are usually black, gray, or bay. Shire horses have a history of being a distillery horse transporting kegs of alcohol to consumers. Taller shire horses are used mainly for show while the shorter ones are used as a stock breed. 

Gypsy Vanner

Draft Horse

Also known as the Irish Cob, the Gypsy Vanner is an English show and dressage horse. This horse is most commonly piebald, but coloring is not regulated. The Gypsy Vanner has a more strict facial profile, the median between a dish and roman nose. Perfect for professional dressage or show jumping.

Friesian Horse

Baroque Horse

The Friesian Horse is officially a strictly black horse with a small star. Unofficially, it can be chestnut or bay although you will be penalized points if your horse does not fit the strict profile of a Friesian Horse. Mare's and geldings are not as strictly regulated as stallions.

Haflinger Horse

Draft Horse

The haflinger is a highly regulated breed that must pass a visual inspection before registering. All haflinger horses must have a chestnut body color with a white mane as well as size and leg marking regulations. Haflinger horses have been known to be good therapy horses due to it's slightly less overall docile nature compared to other horses of its size.
